Hazleton House is a grade II listed former rectory and coach house, occupying a prominent position in the Cotswold hamlet of Hazleton. The house was designed in 1862 by the eminent ecclesiastical architects Medland & Maberley and represents a fine example of a Victorian Rectory.
Design Storey were commissioned to explore designs for a full refurbishment of the main house, a contemporary extension to house a new kitchen and gym and conversion of the coach house into guest accommodation. The design concept retains the original fabric of the main house while a new kitchen pavilion ensures the house is suitable for modern living.
The design work is ongoing and planning permission and listed building consent is due to be granted in spring 2019.
